Saw the hatchery truck head up the road Thursday so the wife and I went to see if we could get some dinner. The lake was still 5-6ft above normal elevation and quite off color due to the spring floods. Maybe 6" visibility. Wife started with crawler and mallow, I went with 2 white power eggs due to water color. Both fished 18-24" off the bottom on a slip sinker rig. First hour, we fished the contour break at the face of the dam, which is often good, with no luck. Then this Osprey flew over and studied the shoreline for a minute, dove and came up with a fish. We started casting close and picked up 2 in quick succession on white power eggs for dinner.
