I know it says we were targeting Walleye but I think we were actually specializing in Lesser Walleye. Gave the report a 3 because it was a good day on the water with good friends. We caught fish in several different places on the Arm but we never caught a single really decent one. Seems like there is an old saying about you can buy a kid a book and send him to school but you can't always teach him to read. I guess in fishing it would apply that just because you have a great new boat and a whiz bang bow mount trolling motor that still doesn't make you a Walleye "Catcher". More practice is required! Caught most of the fish bottom bouncing a worm. Tried some jigging but that didn't seem as productive as the bottom bouncer although the difference between slow and really slow is a hard thing to measure.
