Had a chance to get away and do some camping and fishing over Memorial Day weekend with the family at Keller Ferry. My son and I fished Saturday and Sunday amist the cloudy and rainy weather and windy. The walleygators were very cooperative, found them in 27-37 ft of water, trolled bottom walkers with slow death hooks smiley blades and beads baited with nightcrawlers. Saturday we caught 24 gators between 21-16 inches and Sunday another 16 gators 21-17 inches. Tight lines and keep reelin!!

Headed to Roosevelt for the 1st time ever. Are there places close to Spring Canyon where the walleye fishing is good??

Concentrate on 27 to 37ft of water sandy gravel shorelines, points and coves, troll bottom walkers 0.8 to 1.0 , use chartreuse and florescent green beads with a 1.5 smiley blade mirrored chartreuse or silver tiger stripes chartreuse, fishing was great early morning 5am to 1pm then died off, hope this helps, as far as area goes there is a lot of water and shoreline to cover, if you hit some fish make sure you note where you caught them, a land mark and the depth, hope you catch a bunch.

From your pictures it looks like you found bigger fish down stream than up in the Arm. Taking my trailer to Ft. Spokane for the week, wondering about running down to Keller with the boat.
