I have been remiss about reporting all the awesome fishing I have done on Anderson this year. Started fishing it the second weekend in March, and it has been an awesome producer time and time again. From shore or from the portaboat, this lake has consistently produced many good sized fish from 1.5 to a whopping 2.7 pounds on simple tackle. Wooly buggers worked great as did chartreuse and pink wedding ring combos, no bait or flasher required. Kastmasters worked ok, but the bite was not as consistent. The whole lake is good for trolling, while bank fishing seems to be best near the launch. One and only WDFW officer spotted of the season here, she was very friendly and encouraging of the young angler with me.
