Put in at everett 5am. Dropped lines just south of edmonds a little after 6am.
Fished vicinity of the oil tanks most of the day. First fish was a native chinook caught on a black and white coho killer spoon. Almost right away the other rod went off but it turned out to be a juvi coho.
Ten minutes later we got another hit, this time on a green squid, a keeper coho. Not big but good for my first one in the new boat.
About an hour later we got another native chinook released to fight another day.
Tried catching some herring on a herring jig but just kept catching juvi coho so gave up on that.
Not lights out action but we had fun so it gets 4* from me.
Depth was around 60' in 400'
