Never fished this lake but always wanted. Had a little brisk morning breeze to kick off the day but that soon settled down. This lake it turns out is absolutely loaded with 10-12" Kokanee. They may not be long but they are super fat and delicious. There was scarcely a 10 minute period without getting at least a hit. They preferred a moon jelly pink Paulina Peak dodger with a pink/purple microhoochie and green corn soaked in shrimp, anise, and krill oil over all else. Fish were caught with 1 oz at 55' to 80' on the line counter. I was on the water around 6 AM and off by 9 AM with a full limit.

Took the opportunity to film part two of my Kokanee Formula series. Enjoy.

Yes love this lake for kokanee- we are usually there in May when they a tad smaller but still fight great and are tasty! Always wanted to get back later in the summer and try it out- thanks for the report! How was that slippery boat ramp?

Very slippy! I used the gravel off to the side.

One of my favorite Kokanee lakes as the fish are almost always willing to bite. Never been skunked in this lake and to my surprise it is not one of those well known Kokanee lakes. A lot of ppl just chase trout off the bank or near the boat launch on their pontoons.
