This is a month late report. I’m new to the site and I thought someone might be able to use this information for the future. I fished Roosevelt June 6 and 7 with Lake Mcguiness thrown in. The first day I started at 1 p.m. fishing crescent bay all to myself to experience the best trout fishing of my life. Weather was 70 with a light breeze. I trolled 2.5 inch rainbow trout maglips 2 to 2.5 miles an hour 150 ft behind the boat. Fish were right on top. I had virtually non stop action for several hours. I caught numerous small trout that were released. 5 large BEAUTIFUL red bands released. 5 15 to 19 inch triploids kept with a bonus 17 inch and 13 inch Kokanee kept. The second day I took a friend to mcguiness to catch brooks. We caught 5 in short order using power bait. We hit Cresent bay again and caught 5 more Triploids and released 2 red bands. We were done early. Had both places to ourselves. To think just last year in April I got skunked two days in a row at Roosevelt. Sometimes you just get lucky!
