Second time I have fished this lake and had an overall good day. It started out slow, we were fishing for bass at first. I know there's lots of bass becuase the first time we fished here we must of caught a dozen, just all under 8 inches and not very fat. So we started out hoping to land a big one w/ no luck there, other than the usual 8 inchers or less. Then I decided to try the old fashion worm and slip bobber and this worked well. Within 5-10 minutes I landed a nice 12-13 inch rainbow. So I stuck with the setup I was using. Through out the day must of had 20 bites and succesfully landed 4 (they always strike when I'm not looking). I had 3 others on but they were fighting like crazy jumping out of the water and came unhooked. 2 of the trout swallowed the hook completly, so since I was keeping those 2 no matter what, I chose to keep the other 2. Might as well have a feast :).
