The Pinks are in. Started off at 6:30 AM about 1/4 of the way between Mukilteo and the Shipwreck. Using our light steelhead rods with a 8" white Dodger and Pink Hoochie with 2 hooks and 16" of leader and Shrimp Scent. Put down at 25' and 35' on the riggers. After about 10 minutes noted marks at 45' and dropped down, that was the last time we had two rods in the water at the same time. In about 1/2 hour my wife had 3 nice Pinks in the boat so I decided it was time for me to have some fun. Changed out to my Kokanee rod with a 4" white dodger and Pink Hoochie with 8" leader. Again at 45' on the rigger and hooked up with a nice 7# buck with a nicely developed hump. This is the first time that I have tried the light gear and 4" dodger and it sure was fun. Going to smoke them up on Sunday and back out on Monday.

For speed I had the kicker as slow as it would go. With the tide it was about 2 mph.
