Had a great time fishing with my little brother! the third youngest out of three brothers i have who are all equally passionate about fishing being that we were all born on a tiny island called "Saipan"located iun the pacific ocean just north of "Guam". Now currently residing in this beautiful state Washington surrounded by all these bodies of waters i been learning from videos and reports on the internet how to fish certain bodies of waters each having its own techniques and different species of fish.
Anyways i found this lake on google maps and it was pretty close to where i lived a few years ago but only fished off the dock. The whole lake was surrounded by thick bushes and trees so it had limited shore access with a few open bank spots here and there. To get to the lake you have to walk a trail that leads to different parts of the park with benches in random areas having the trees overhang on both sides of the trail makes it a interesting walk through the jungle like trail. With large varieties of birds, i even saw a white owl for the first time ever fishing here one evening which was pretty cool, it was hovering above me and stared for a good 10 seconds then soared off. I've caught little dink large mouth bass before off the dock but nothing really over a pound. It has lily pads almost all the way around the shorelines, i promised myself a few years ago to get on the water and fish it and it finally happened.
Me and my little brother prepped and finally was able to get on the water and hook up on some nice LArgies with some insane TOP WATER STRIKES with the good ol' Frog Lures!HERE is a link to our video of some blowups and hookups! Tight Lines!
