Don't get stuck in the mud!!! Judy and I returned to the Everett launch with our limit of Pinks at 9:30 AM and then the fun began. About 75' from the entrance my motor hit bottom so I shut it off and looked over the side and found we were in about 15" of water. I tilted the motor up so that about only 1/2 of the prop was in the water and we slowly made it to lane 10 where I could barely tie up. From there it was about 75' of only 6" of water to the ramp, so we sat there with a few other boats and had our lunch. After about 45 minutes I was able to swing the boat into lane 9 and we were able to retrieve it. The tide today was -1.8 and in the next few days will be -2.0 or more so be aware of the tide times if you go out. We started just past Mukilteo at 6:30 and did not have a bite in the first 30-45 minutes and ended up with our last fish in area 9 past the shipwreck. All fish caught 60-70' on the downriggers. It was a beautiful sunny day and again we had a great time.
