This last weekend was our first trips on the Hanford Reach! Unfortunately, the weather decided to take a spin for the worse and we got our first taste of a winter cold front through the Basin! The fish did not seem to like that pressure change and the bite got tough! We managed two really good mornings, but on both Saturday and Sunday, the afternoon bite was non-existent. NO flow on the Reach also made it tough as fish were not really moving. We tend to have better afternoons when we have flow and the fish travel, bringing new fish into the holes. Hopefully as the weather stabilizes, we will get back to some better action all day long! We had the bites to limit both days, but ended up loosing some fish. Again, I think the weather had the bite a bit softer than normal. 360 flashers and superbaits were the go-to. If interested in the Hanford Reach fishery, we have 3 seats open October 27th! These are our last seats open for the season. Give us a call today!
