We fished below Priest Rapids October 3rd thru the 6th. My son, new grandson and I trolled with silver flashers and Brad's lures using downriggers just off the bottom in 35 feet of water. Thursday morning the bite was on at about 6:45 and we limited by 8:00. Water was very high early and it seemed to help with the bite. We limited again on Friday but the bite didn't start until about 10:00, the water was low and just started to come up. Saturday was much the same with all of us limiting by noon. Sunday my other grandson came over from Richland and he caught a big, hook nosed, buck. I caught my fish and we lost one other before returning to the ramp. The fish checker told my grandson that his fish was the largest he had seen this year. Water temp was about 60 degrees. Well worth the drive from Yakima.
