We got a late start this morning but it did't seem to matter. I decided to start out fishing for Rainbows and the fishing was great, we used Repalas on the surface and caught 7 fish fairly quick, then we wanted to see if we could find some Perch and that we did, we stopped at 2 buckets full. we caught the Perch on Swedish Pimples and Perch eyes one after another tell we had all we wanted to clean.

Looks like a successful day. Where did you launch at? This time of year it seems hard to find a launch on Long Lake.

Willow Bay is the best place for now, it’s a little spendy 17$ per day to launch

There seems to be a lot this year, everywhere we went it was fish after fish.

I am headed to Long lake this Thursday before Turkey dinner I am not familiar with this lake. My mom lives in Nine Mile Falls what boat launch do you recommend from this area ? Can you see the perch on the Fish finder pretty well ? Was going for Walleye but I don't mind a bucket full of perch? Any tips help thanks

Willow Bay is the best launch, fish out in front of the islands in 35/40 feet.
