My son got to the dock almost an hour before I did. I got there about 10:30am. I arrived the same time as John Knudsen did. I had let him know that we were going to be there. Walked out on the dock and my son already had 3 squid. It was warm in the sun but chilly in the shade. This is the first time this year fishing the outgoing tide. High Tide was at 9:51 AM 12.4 with low at 4:30 PM 6.6 feet. I casted out, my jigs hit the bottom, my tip did a little quiver and I jerked. My first squid on the dock.
While catching wasn’t hot it wasn’t terrible. I think all the people that were on the dock got a few before they left. John got 2 squid, my son 6, and I got 6. My son got an octopus and I caught 3. The most I have ever caught. John and I left about 3.
