Launched at Keller around 8:15 on Monday. It was a chilly and the fog was hanging on the tops of the hills. A perfect day for fishing. We started trolling along the cliffs directly across for the launch but didn't get a bite for and hour. We moved over to the mouth of the SanPoil and started trolling the north shore. We consistently caught rainbows close in the shore around 20-25ft on the downriggers for the rest of day the day focusing on the bays and points. We used a variety of Kokabow dodgers and home tied hoochies tipped with pink dyed corn. Pink and orange where the good colors. We ended up with keeping 7 rainbows, a 17 inch Kokanee and releasing 4 nice native fish. We called it quits at 1:45 and headed home. It was a great day on the water and Keller is just such a pretty place!
