Left my house at 4 and met a friend in Airway heights. Then we proceeded to drive through the freezing fog until we rolled into the Rufus and launched just after daylight. We targeted 20-45 FOW for most of the day with jigs, and dropshots in about every color you could think of. In our second spot I finally picked up one nice 20 inch walleye on a motor oil twister tail tipped with a worm on a red jig head in about 35 FOW. We continued to pound the area for way longer then we should've since Its produced well for us in the past but that wasn't the case today. We spent a half hour throwing cranks on current seems along the rock walls and had several trout follow but no takers. It was a little chilly but a great day to get back on the water with a fishing pole now that duck season is over. Water temps hovered around 38 degrees.
