I took a couple out fishing in the morning. Started out fishing between the mouth of the Cedar and Mercer Island. The water was in the mid 40s and very cloudy. We marked fish from 30-100 but could not get any to go for 2.5 hours. So, I decided to move up to Luther Burbank Park. Started catching Kokanee over 125-150 feet of water in the top 25 feet of water. Caught 3 on a flyrod with a heavy seeking head and a 3 on a downrigger at 15 feet to 20 feet at 1.7-2 mph. The water was normal color for this time of year. Caught the fish on chartreuse, pink and a perch pattern flys. Started fishing about 8:30 pulled our lines about 1. It was windless and overcast. We had a great time.
