I probably should have given it a three star. Fishing was poor and the wind was up from the time we started at 5 till I finally gave up fighting the wind at 10:30. About four other boats out. Water is still a little bit cool for the kokanee to be going hard at it I think or at least that is my excuse. Was pretty looking out though. Had to troll a little quick to maintain good steerage, so that was another problem. Another week or so I think of warm weather will probably do it. Think maybe Cavanaugh next week for kokanee or maybe Banks or Moses for walleye. Not sure. Found the schools of them on the east end of the lake, but nothing biting. Trolled over them several times, but nothing. Hopefully the other four boats out there did better than me. Just good to be out after being on this silly restriction thing. We have all been complaining about it, so now that we are allowed to be doing what we should have been doing anyways. Let's get out there. Catch a bunch!
