We started fishing about 8am and finished at 11am. Water temperature was 58 degrees. It was sunny and hot. Windy as well.
My son got the first, second, and third fish and I never got a bite (that I saw). So, I had him bait my hooks and then I got fish. He even let me use the lure he was using.
He got his limit. I brought 2 home. I got the biggest. His first one was at 25 down on the downriggers. All the rest were 10-15 feet. I went all over the water by the launch. We were using parts of nightcrawlers on our lures.
Lots of people on the lake.
The wait to get out was incredible. One side of the dock was taken up by a boat and pontoon boat who were just waiting, motor running. Therefore, everyone who wanted to leave could only use the other side. Only one boat at a time could launch where the pontoon was moored.
