Another fantastic day on the Spokane Arm. I took Glenn and JD out in my Tracker on Saturday; we launched out of Porcupine Bay once again. Headed up the Arm and spent the morning fishing the channel edges from buoy 5 down river. We jigged up somewhere between 70-80 eyes and kept a limit of 48; none were smaller than 17" or bigger than 21". We released a bunch of smaller ones as well as some larger spawned out females up to about 26 ". Almost all were caught in <15 FOW. Most of the fish we cleaned had smaller crawdads in their bellies so using a grub or swimbait in browns and greens worked best for us. On the water by 0500 and had a 48 fish limit by 1030; life is good. By the way we counted 51 boats as we headed down river; I bet some people waited a long time to get off the water.

On a side note: Vladimir/Ivan/Sergei stop getting your boat ready on the ramp, use the parking lot to prep. This is the second time you have done this to us, the first time was before the lock-down at Ft. Spokane, it is rude and very annoying.

Not recommended, but effective - a couple yrs ago a man with a couple of boys from Id tried to talk the rude bunch into
leaving the ramp so he could launch - they tried to give him a hard time, but the model 29 appeared and the ramp opened
up very quickly. Have run into those guys several times both at porkypine and ft spokane ramps - not sure about them
being able to read - they are also the same bunch that shows up in winter at the beach at ft spokane - I just give 911 a call
and the ranger sometimes does show up - ranger did recommend vehicle/trlr license numbers and a report and they would
follow up - good luck.

Great report Glen! Sorry to read of poor ramp etiquette, but you're not alone as I see the same silliness at Seven Bays quite often too,

I am a very easy going guy but sometimes some folks just irritate me. These guys can see you sitting there getting rigged up and they still drive right past you and block the ramp. We have launching and recovering down to a science; in fact even when I am solo I can still usually do it faster than most people.
