Gorgeous day to be on Chelan, but not the most productive day ever. We launched at Chelan SP and were on the water around 7:30am. We weren't marking any fish on the south side, so we headed to the west side of Wapato Point. We marked some fish, caught a few, but the few times we marked a school and got ourselves turned around without tangling our lines, the fish had moved and we didn't mark the school again. That turned out to be the story repeated all day.

We then headed down the lake toward the red roofs and got some more fish, and spent the rest of the morning and early afternoon in the middle of the lake, up-lake from the red and blue roofs. We never had a double on, lost several fish, and wound up with 13 kokanee between three of us. The rods in the downriggers produced a few fish, everywhere from about 40' to 80', but the most productive rod had lead-core line with about 3.5 colors out, and a pink & purple hoochie behind a Mack's dodger.

Overall a fun day, not the most productive, but we can't complain!
