I'm a bit conflicted with the rating. Quantity wise, it'll be at least a 4 but quality and pace, I think a 3 is appropriate.

I started off at a deep point that I havent fished all year. Working a jerkbait and crankbait, then dropshot. Only took me a few minutes to hookup in the shallow side and it was a dink LMB. Slightly bigger than my lure lol. As I go deeper, I saw some marks on sonar and felt the nips. I landed an even smaller dink SMB on the dropshot.

I found what looked like several big boulders in about 35' of water. Able to catch a 13" SMB off it with DS. This SMB was nice and chunky looking. Found another ~12" LMB in about 15' of water off outside weedline with DS.

The wind is starting to pick up. Decided to fish along with the wind. Thinking maybe the chop has the fish active in the shallow shorelines. So I start tossing the jerkbait, crankbait and swimbait. The jerkbait seemed to be most productive. I caught a mix of LMB and SMB dinks lol. Ok, now I'm thinking maybe the bigger ones are very shallow or much deeper. Welp, I still wasnt able to find any decent fish but the action was consistent. I think by now, I'm at about 12 dinks for the day lol.

Now it's at about 11:15AM. I'm thinking ok, 1 last stop to see if I can at least get something that resembles a respectable fish. Wow what a stop. First 6 casts, I landed 4 fish there.
1st @ 1.89#
2nd @ 2.55#
3rd @ 2.13#
4th @ 2.60#

Took several more casts but 5th fish was maybe a 12"er.

Then a 6th @ 2.42#

Then I get a 7th fish but that was also another 12"er or so.

All caught on DS at this spot. Most I've ever caught in 1 spot before. I did try running the crank and t-rig to see if anything else would attack it but that was it.

The water was also choppy here due to the wind. Glad the trolling motor did it's job keeping me in 1 spot. Done by 12:10PM. On the way back to the launch, I was a bit wet due to the chop and wind. Kind of wish I had a deep-v again. The water looked like the background of NWFR lol.
