8/18/2020 4:07:24 PMThose smallies in the Okanogan river eat a lot of sockeye smolts. Call me crazy, but I've never heard of a sockeye smolt that returned as an adult 2 years later to become a part of the Brewster pool salmon fishery after it got eaten by a smallmouth bass. Sounds like a fun day pvanney - smallmouth are super fun to catch, and killing a few of them is probably good for the salmon fishery..
