Went out with Ken who owns a guide service. This was a last minute planned trip and luckily Ken had an open slot. I was taking a coworker who is from Arizona and has never experience the bouy 10 craziness. Nick did get to catch his first salmon, unfortunately it was only about 17" king. We had two other bites and that was it for a 7 hour day. Thanks for the extra hour Ken. It was an ebb tide almost the entire time on the water so we knew fishing would be tough. We only saw one other fish in a net and someone Ken knew said they had one onboard. Fish checker said they checked 30 fish for 30 boats. I figure that's an average of one fish per 3-4 poles. Not a great morning. It was fun to hit an old stomping ground I hadn't fished in probably 6-7 years. First time with a guide for salmon and it's way more relaxing than getting everything ready, hauling boats, etc, Good luck out there,
