I was at the river for an hour and 20 minutes, I seen 3 fish caught and one on the guys stringer next to me. I fished my spot and managed to hook boot it was brown and what im about to tell you next is...this fish didnt have alot of energy but just enough to get me exited...at the point when I thought I could tug it up on shore a man who was helping me was trying to grab it and another man was bringing his net so after we confirmd it was hatchery and in the mouth...wich yes I knew it was because I knew it bit my corkie I tried once again to tug it onto the bank when then my pole broke 30dollar amazon special... I left getting my butt booted and pole broken. But my fish wich touched the shore was honorable and im really happy im not eating it because it was brown. I wish I coulda picked it up n took a pic but sometimes you gotta give em the quick release.
