Left the dock a little after 5pm and back by 630pm. I hit my go to trolling spot in sportsmans bay and the fish were hungry. Trolled two worm rigs, one with copper blade and the other a green/red. Copper blade had a couple more fish on it. Trolling around 1.3 mph in 15-16ft of water. The bite is most consistent if you can keep the boat right on the edge of the weeds. Took home 5 perch, smallest 9.5" and the rest 10.5" and a smallmouth. Threw back a 12" and 13" walleye. Switched to a crankbait on one pole toward the end of the trip and hooked up on a squawfish. Water temp was 67 degrees and the skiers and surfers are still out. 9 fish in a hour wasn't so bad. Nothing huge, but my son is really getting into eating perch (finally).
