Last night I scouted the Duwi with my daughter during our walk. Lots and lots of fish jumping by the 112th st bridge despite the nets. Today I finished teaching and decided to put the grading on hold and give it a try. I launch at the 1st ave bridge but it took me a while to get up to 112 th, because there were so many nets. Finally got there and sure enough the fish were jumping. I threw the entire tackle box at them and not one bite. Hoochie spinners, spinners, jigs, wiggle warts. Tried all types of colors too. Lots of shore fisherman as well. Didn't see anything caught or hooked. If anyone has an secrets to unlock those locked jawed fish, Please PM me. On the plus side, I got some sun and wasn't grading papers :)

Thanks for the report. Seems that the fish would be stacked in that lower Duwamish area waiting for a big rain to push them up. Quick question, is there a boat ramp at the 112th St Bridge? If so, is it big enough for a 20'?

No there is no launch for a regular boat there; closest is the 1st avenue launch to go up river. There are spots along to the river to launch small pontoons and kayaks but not for a 20' boat.

Salmonbarry is correct. 1st ave is the closest launch. It's a bit of a crap show there at the moment too. There is a huge sail boat that is sunk and taking up the majority of the launch. Good Luck!
