Tried out Sawyer on my Colorado XT, tried trolling for crappie/perch to begin with, couple of nibbles but no fish. Switched to the trolling gear, dropped down to about 20 feet. Lot's of sonar action, no bites. Caught two decent sized rainbows right in front of the launch. They were about 11 inches. released them to get bigger. Good little fighters though. Using cured corn (garlic, salt, & tuna as well as garlic, fire cure, and kok scent), dodger, and a basic hootchie. Tried a couple different colors, green, yellow, and pink with no luck. Wind started picking up around 2pm so I called it a day. Saw a couple other boats out. One trolling and the others looked like they were targeting bass. Didn't see much catching but good to be out fishing either way.
