Only my third time out on this lake so my reports not red hot. Fog was thick on the lake. Had to motor out slowly. Started near the weather buoy. Lots of debris out. One pile was probably a Christmas tree... Started off with a pink wedding ring and a good half and half God’s Tooth spoon. Trolled around for a while without a bump. Gear change to orange spin-n-glow got the first bite at 9ft. Felt good but popped off 10ft from the boat. Looked like a cutthroat. Reset and trolled back around. No luck.
Went around the lake and found a few marks at 20ft the west side middle in 80ft of water. With in 2 min it was fish on with the same set up. Partner with the assist and 15in cut in the box. Went back and nothing. Wanted to spend more time but has to call it so trolled back to the weather buoy. Picked up the last one at the point near the weather buoy around 12ft deep. This time on a pink and blue spin-n-glow with the brass nickel skateboard style dodger.
Set backs were about a hundred feet. Used arrow flash Dodger bras and nickel on the other rig. Used tuna soaked corn and a small earthworm. Didn’t see much on the finder so suspecting fish are near the top. Trolling around 1.8 mph.
