Been under the weather the last week so it took me a while to get around to this report. I managed to get out on Monday with my wife and we decided to troll spinners. We started near the dam fiahing tue surface down to 28 ft and we hooked a few but the action was a bit slow. I decided to make a move to my normal spot by swigert and we barely got the first rod in the water before it started dancing. The fishing action was pretty much fast and furious and we caught fish on every set up. I just love going to Riffe lake it never seems to disappoint. Tight lines!

Thanks for sharing. Riffe is one of my favorite lakes but usually wait until later in the year to fish it so I don’t have to cross the pass. Lake looks beautiful. Glad you had a fun day! We all need more of those nowadays.

Yeah, it is one of my favorites too and we hit it just right to make for a great trip. I still have a lot of new lakes I need to fish. Hopefully I knock a few of them out this year!

I'm curious where Swigert is. I know Swigert Road in Mossy Rock and Swigert Creek but didn't think either one came close to the lake = ????? Did you mean off of Swofford ?

Swigert creek goes into riffe. There is a nice point just west. Fish around it. Just typer in swigert creek riffe like then zoom in on google maps. Tight lines!

OK, thank you. For some reason I thought Swigert creek ran into Simmons creek but I guess not. So east of Simmons. I always wondered and just figured it was a no-name creek like some others.
