What had been working for me the last couple of times stopped so I changed up what I was using and it worked. I have been averaging stopping at 5-8 different locations in search of active fish. That's my best advice for anybody who is struggling right now; that and get your jig on. These walleyes can be reluctant to chase down a spinner in this cold water so finding an area and slowly working it with a jig, blade bait or drop shot should be on everyone's list of things to try. It does take awhile to get your arms in jigging shape without feeling like you have little T-rex arms at the end of the day. When I do start trolling it will probably be with crankbaits.
