Went to Tanwax, was a beautiful day, a lot of fishers as well as recreational kayaker's out on the water. So many people enjoying the wonderful day. Had the pleasure of witnessing an adult Bald Eagle and her two younglings (no white yet) fly around the lake and pester some ducks on the surface; even they didn't catch a fish! I trolled for a bit with a dodger and hootchie, nada. Marked a lot of fish but nothing was hungry or willing to hit. Decided to anchor up and drop shot a red worm. Had a couple of nibbles but that was it; most likely a small perch. Trolled jigs, spinnerbait jig, Blue and Silver Gods tooth, and a flatfish. Nada. Anchored again to jig and drop shot, same story. Decided to call it a day at around 1430

Had plans to visit Tanwax but they fell through, so thanks for the report. Maybe a bit more warmth will increase the activity.

When I was there, the water temp rose from 44 to 47 by 2pm-ish. Definitely need some consecutive sunny days to warm things up. The lake also look murkier than I remember from last year; looks like a lot of algae getting ready to blow up. Maybe I'm wrong but it definitely was not as clear.
