Never been to this lake before. IT was still closed for the season, but the bathrooms were open. Being it had been closed since last fall there were no fees charged. You and the "Sasquatch", few cats, moose, bears etc. , but isn't that what you go for...

The fishing would be really good for a family of young kids--no size to speak of but fairly easy to catch. My son and I would catch 2 fish, switch spinners, catch 2 more fish, switch spinners etc---or use a Woolley Bugger fly catch a couple and switch.. Certainly be hard to bore a kid unless extremely ADHD.

Rainbow trout in the 8-10" range.

The pair of loons on this lake were quite a couple to watch go through a variety of courtship behaviors and listen to their calls. Really neat.

Anyhow can't get much quieter. Nice--great camping--only facilities available were a couple clean bathrooms.
