My brother flew in Friday to meet our new son and helped me frame up the rest of our basement so I took him fishing all day Saturday to return the favor. Launched out of porcupine and headed up the Arm a long way. Stopped at a few spots that are usually pretty good this time of year but with the high water levels I didn't find any fish so continued up river. We had our best luck fishing tight current seams pitching jigs 3/8th ounce red jigs with a motor oil twister tail and worm. We never really found a hotspot but managed to pull a few walleyes out of each spot. I think the biggest two hit 22 inches and the other 6 we kept were in the 17-19 inch range. We did manage to fill our limits of trout with the biggest couple hitting 23 inches. The wind definitely dictated on where we could fish or at least wanted to fish. I think we also caught one smallmouth and a monster grayfish also on the jig. Caught fish anywhere from 3-30 FOW.
