Day 2- Okay so got a bit more serious today with a 5:30 start fishing solo and after launching at Mill bay headed straight down to the red roof condos but was met with a pretty still east wind which is unusual for this lake. Made it difficult to troll anywhere but back and forth to the blue roofs but finally found the schools and it was lights out with 2 doubles and by 8:30 was limited out going 10 for 11! The hot lures was the 50/50 brass silver God's tooth lure with arrow flash dodger tipped with corn and a 9" leader- that got 7 and the new 2" spin fish stuffed with tuna got the other three.
Called my wife and she was ready to be picked up so made my way back the launch, tied up the boat and ran back to the lodge to pick her up. We got back down and the water was like glass with no wind so she wanted to make a run up lake to take some pictures. After a nice boat ride she said she was ready to catch a few more fish so we motored back down to the honey hole and went 2 for 3 to end the day with a bakers dozen. The lodge let us do a late check out so we headed in around noon to pack up! Great time again and can't wait to get back over later this spring and summer!
See you on the water!
