Went back up to Alder Lake for this week's fishing adventure. I decided to go on Tuesday after Labor Day. We are on the back of a spot of really sunny weather and coupled with the increase in ski boats etc. The fish were not quite as cooperative as last time. Ended with 5 cutthroat and only one kokanee. Just couldn't seem to find the kokanee this time. Pink Ice was the hot lure. Blue Ice started well but broke a hook so it had to be retired and retied later. Beautiful day on the water on a wonderful lake. If you haven't experienced Alder then definitely give it a go!

I don't think Monday was Labor Day. Will have to give Alder Lake a try. Where did you get the lures? Nice video

I went on Sunday, at first to the area you were fishing and then my son said lets go back by the launch. We did and that is where we caught the most/had the most action. We fish mornings so it is a little different time wise than you. Those cutthroat are good eating fish

I didn't have a problem finding the trout. But the kokanee were not where I left them last time. :) When do crappie start warming up? That is a fishery I want to learn this year.
