I wasn't going to report this until I got a call from my buddy Tim this morning. He read the creel report and said that there were 59 boats out and only 16 fish were caught and WE caught FIVE of them! LOL!!!

I can't say that it was on fire, but we were persistent and kept at it. We were hoping to get our limit of 6 (three guys on the boat) but that last one evaded us.

We ended up with 5 silvers in the cooler and 2 kings released. The silvers this time of year are small but TASTY! I had one fillet of the smaller one for dinner Thursday night and then for breakfast on Saturday. Gave the other 2 fillets to my neighbor and buried the carcasses in my garden and planted a squash plant above each of them.

I think it's going to be a great year for fishing!
