Sorry late report but just had to share. Finally after 5 years, I caught a 20" cutthroat out of Lake Sammamish. I read so many reports from other members of catching 20" inchers. Closest I had come was a 19" incher a couple of years ago. Needless to say, I was pretty excited. My husband smoked it up and it was excellent!
Fishing the northern area on the westside, 50' on the rigger, 90' back. Using a 50/50 arrow flash dodger and homemade 50/50 beaded spinner with a small piece of perch. No scent.
Also caught 2 beautiful kokanee and a small blackmouth. All released per regulations. Finished the day with 4 cutthroat & a perch.
Now if I can only figure out how to fish the sound and catch some coho or kings.
Tight lines!
