Sorry for the late report but things have been a bit busy at work with restaurants opening to 100% but struggling with staffing issues just like our company! Got an invite a couple weeks ago on the hottest weekend of the century so went where it was hotter over to Sun Lakes resort on Park lake but got to stay at the Cove which was awesome! Air conditioned rooms and docks right on the water for fishing options- did not take the boat was daytime temps were going to be over 110 degrees so just opted to plunk with power bait.

This will be from 6/26/21 Saturday until Tuesday 6/30/21 when we returned to the westside and greeted with a nice refreshing marine layer!
First nigiht had couple kids that were itching to get the lines wet so got the usually power bait set up with sliding egg sinker and 18-24" of leader to a #10 gami egg hook on 3# test flouracarbon leader. Took awhile for soon had one of the poles almost launch into lake and the 8 year old had his first fish of the night and what a beauty! These holdovers are fat and fiesty and on the second day had 2 of the little poles get pulled on but the funny thing was those little poles caught the majority of the fish over the next 4 days!

What a blast and also some great fellowship time over the next for days with old friends and ended up with 19 fish, 2 lost poles and about 4 that broke off the line! Made some great memories for these kids that are getting raised by their grandparents so they were greatful I was able to get them onto some lunkers!
