Brewster Sockeye/King Report:
We have been in the Pool for several weeks now. Sockeye fishing was epic this year, but was closed early by WDFW. Fishing was as easy as it gets with the amount of fish at the mouth of the Okanogan. We fished coon shrimp rigs mid water column for our sockeye and were getting limits in 1/2 hour to 45 minutes every morning. Then we switched to King gear and caught kings daily before it got too hot! 360 flashers and super baits or spinners was the ticket here. Once Sockeye closed on the 18th, we focused on Kings and were getting 5-10 Kings a day with a few hatchery to keep. We are about done with this part of our season, but I do have 3 seats left on August 6th if you are interested in a nice Summer King!
