Another stellar day starting off with an incredible sunrise! The smoke made the sun look like a giant red planet and the clouds banded it - imagine seeing a bright red Jupiter coming up over the horizon. The photos I'm posting just don't do it justice!

Anyhow, on to the fishing report! We got to the ridge on the West side of Possession point and it was pretty much fish on for most of the morning. We caught a total of 15 fish by 11am but only got 3 keepers that were of legal size and had a clipped fin. Pretty much stayed with the same thing the whole morning (why switch when it's working?). We used a lemon-lime flasher and apple core hoochie with a herring strip.

Our guest today was Sam from Outdoor Emporium - I'm sure he had a sore arm since he reeled in most (all?) of the fish today!
