Got another chance to sneak out for a few hours. I started off fishing along the west banks, sections where I havent fished in a long time. Started off very shallow with a jerkbait.

Found lots of perch and small LMB. I'm working in and out around those shallow areas and get to the inside weedline and start seeing a little bit bigger fish. Some LMB getting close to the 1# range.

Water smooth as glass for most of my way upwards along this stretch. Mixing in dropshot, crankbait, football, and swimbait.

I start moving north and fishing some deep docks. Again, finding lots of schools of perch and small LMB and some bluegills. Checked out a couple of points with no success.

It is deceivingly hot out. It's partly cloudy but as soon as the sun breaks through, you feel it. Time is almost up. So on way back, I stopped off at Fart Hole. It produced my only 2 SMB of the day. Maybe a 1.5# and other 1#. The 1.5# coughed up a nice size partially dissolved baitfish. Couldnt tell what it was, it was all white. For some reason, this one got the bends. I looked for my fizzer but couldnt find it. It was only caught in about 15' of water. The smaller one was caught in about 22' of water and no issue.

I've only had a handful of bass in all these years that didn't make it. Need to buy another fizzer to have on board.

Caught both SMB on dropshot. Everything else on crankbait and jerkbait. Nothing on the football or swimbait.
