Final trip to Sekiu last week. Lots of unclipped fish. Wednesday morning, we tallied 13 unclipped before we found a fish that was missing its adipose fin.

We were fishing the OG2 lures in tight, near the downrigger ball. We attached an attractor directly to the ball and then fished the OG2 off of a stacker clip that was two feet above and six feet behind the ball. (I like this setup as you don't end up fighting the flasher and the fish; just the fish.) We saw marks up and down the water column. But, it seemed like our most effective depths ranged from 40 to 100 feet. (We started shallow and moved deeper as the morning progressed.)

The most effective lure color was the fluoro-white body with black scales. This combination took the bulk of our fish.
