Hadn't been to Hunters in a couple years. Heard there had been some good reports so made the trip. Thanksgiving weekend has been traditionally good for us. Not disappointed today. Took a while to find them. One here and there till we got to the mouth of Hunter creek. Found them stacked and hungry. Had doubles a few times and triple hookup three times. Didn't get them all in the boat but what fun. Most were 17". One was 20. Released a few wilds including a 20". Mostly flies trolled two colors and 50' leader, but the winner was a wedding ring behind a dodger at 15' on the downrigger. Fly color didn't matter. 2 to 2.5 mph. Caught fish in 12' water and 133' water. All were in the top 15 feet. Finished with three limits. Beautiful day, mostly calm, almost no other boats.
