Took Glenn out to the Arm. We found a large flat that had a school of eyes that were feeding on a school of 1 1/2 inch perch. I actually brought in two eyes that had live perch in their mouths. Those were the luckiest perch in the river today; they were able to swim away instead of being a meal. We caught 55 and cleaned 32 eaters. We had a limit by 1030 which was good because the bite slowed way down after that. Jigs and blade baits.

Wow! Your killing me with these great Walleye reports. Done by 10:30, that sounds like great fun.

Nice work Mark! Duck season is over so I put away the hunting gear and rigged up the walleye boat/gear over the weekend! Hoping to get out Saturday if the weather isn't terrible!

Glenn and I have been pretty fortunate to find a couple of areas that are holding eyes. As has been the case since last fall, is find the perch find the eyes. I will say that the bite has been consistently over by 1100 no matter where I have fished all fall/winter. I was working my jig extremely slow and only lifting it about 6 inches on every lift. Additionally, Glenn has been keeping a log of where and when we fish certain areas. This has been extremely helpful. I don't have the patience to keep a log. Might be a good thing to start if you fish Roosevelt all year long life we do.
