We started fishing at 9:30am and quit at 1:30pm. The water was 48 degrees almost 49. It was pleasant when the sun was out but it was cold when the wind blew. We managed not to get anything but a few sprinkles. All the dark clouds went north east of us. We travelled past the burned-out Bill’s Boathouse. I believe it may have been there at least 60 years? We tried 5-25Feet on the downrigger. We were travelling at 1.1-1.8mpg. All fish came on the longlined rod. It only had 1/8th ounce of weight. My son used the new lure I bought tipped with worms and corn. Is it hard to rate this day? I had a few bites. Three fish in four hours is pretty slow. Only one person was catching. But when that first fish came in and was so large. The biggest trout he had caught to date. I guess it was a successful day catching. 17.5 inch, 15 inch and 11.25 inch trout.
