Fished Riffe from Thursday to Saturday. Best day was Thursday when we nabbed 5 and lost a couple more. Very slow fishing this week. Most of what we caught were cohos but the wind in the morning made it a huge challenge. Most days we just said enough was enough and went in to enjoy what Mossyrock park had to offer for our families. Lake was as high as I’ve seen it in recent history. Wood debris all over as well. Some full blown logs and stumps floating so be careful if you’re going out for some skiing or searching water. With the wind switching from the east to the west daily, it made for a fun gauntlet to dodge the sticks, logs and grass. All in all we were fishing and that’s better than the alternative. Took the kids out in the afternoon when the lake settled a bit and they caught a few so that’s a bonus.
