Took Jay with me out to the Arm. We launched at first light and hit some of our better summer areas with jigs. That didn't pan out too well so we trolled both crankbaits and spinners. We caught about 15 eyes and 6 or 7 rainbows. Nothing much for size. We ended up with only 2 17 to 18 inch keepers in the live well. As we headed back down river we stopped and jigged a nice mud line. We caught another 10 dinks. It was a nice way to end the day. We released the two eyes we had in the live well. There was a lot of wood in the Arm so be careful. The way back to the launch looked like a scene out of Caddyshack. The one where Rodney Dangerfield takes his boat out for a drive; total mayhem.

Hi Mark. Thanks for the report. Did you go up to buoy 5 and trill mostly down current? When trolling? Thanks

I
Morrow I was above buoy 5 and I was trolling down river. There was actually current the higher I so I trolled down current. No particular depth just down the middle of the channel

Hey Mark, Good to see a report. Hopefully you avoided all mayhem. Still poking along trying to recover from a broken favorite shoulder so will be awhile getting to the water. I'm sure you will do better soon.

Part-time it's the middle of the summer and the weedbeds are still slowly coming in. When the bait goes into the weedbeds so will the eyes. Heal quickly my friend
