Headed out at the best time of day to fish, 1230pm. Ah, just kidding. Haven't fished the lake for a month. It was dead trolling for Walleye, perch, crappie, etc in mid August. I figured the lake must be cooler by now. It is, but it's still 69.2 F. I probably only trolled for a hour and a half in sportsmans bay in 14-20 ft of water. Caught one small perch. A friend that swung by said they started in Sportsmans and went all the way to Tum Tum. Not a single bite. I will have to get more serious I guess tomorrow and try some other spots or give it a week and see if the trolling starts to work again, and maybe not head out at noon. Judging by the fry around my dock this year, it appears the largemouth had an excellent spawn. I'm guessing I've watched a hundred largemouth that are 4-5" swimming around my dock and quite a few 2" crappie. Haven't noticed any small mouth fry. Oh and bullhead fry at night can be seen with a flashlight, but that's normal this time of year. Good luck out there
